~ Kundu Chowdhury family is much well-known as 'Kundus of Mahiary'. In the picture, a portion of the family's ancestral home is shown. The family celebrates Bashanti puja and Durga puja in this house since 1811 CE.

 

This is also the shooting location of Aparna Sen's movie Gaynar baksha [2013].
