Iceland Day 1 - Strokkur Geysir Classic
A shot that has been made thousands and thousands times before… But I don’t think there’s anything wrong with shooting iconic locations for yourself, especially when you see them with your own eyes for the first time. They are impressive for a reason and it is just fun to capture them, and see on the back of your screen why everybody shoots them😊 So during my trip I did shoot a lot of classic compositions, but also a lot of more intimate sceneries that caught my eyes while walking around.
I’m not a big fan of the aspect ratio 2:3, as I think in most cases it is stretched out to far and it is hard to find a pleasing balance in this ratio. But this famous geyser got way higher than I thought, so there was no other choice!
