Shadows and Fire
A photograph I’ve edited specially to complement the concept album Shadows and Fire. A musical project my dear friend Kevin, my brother Ben and I’ve made, about growing up and the struggles that comes along with it. We’ve been making music together casually for many years now, but the older we grow the harder it gets to find the time for it. What started small, more like a fun challenge, turned out to be an, almost half an hour long, piece of music that contains a mixture of genres, although progressive rock predominates. Not everyone’s taste, I know… 😊
Actually, it was never our intention to share the music on the web, and the recording process wasn’t anywhere near a professional one (it’s recorded with minimal hardware and very basic software on the garret), but putting it on Spotify just makes it very easy to playback, for ourself and our friends in the first place. And I thought, since it’s already there, why not share it here on Flickr? So if you're a bit into this more progressive music, I'll definitely encourage you to take a listen!

(For this edit I’ve used a sky from photoshop, which I normally wouldn’t do. However, since this is more of a creative approach, where I’ve tried to find the right mood for the music, I think it’s fully justified.)
