Allies

Came back yesterday from my vacation at the France Normandic coast, where I had a lovely two weeks with my and my brothers family. Of course vacations like this are all about familytime, but luckily I was able to combine it with some photography every now and then (beside the hundreds of portraits of our kids:P)

 

This shot was made at a beach nearby my caravan. I saw this poles at the first day I arrived and knew I wanted to go back with high tide on a cloudy day for a minimalistic approach. This morning conditions were fine and I took my daughter with me. What I didn't knew was that by the time I'd set up it rained so hard we both got soaked! Luckily the temperture was pretty high, so we were all dried up quickly and after a shower we both laughed about this little adventure (and miscalculation!) For the shot itself however the conditions couldn't been much better:)
