Mount Kharniath: A Collaborative Project
2018 - Mount Kharniath is a collaborative build with
Jake and Timothy displayed at Bricks Cascade 2018! Among 326 attendees Mt Kharniath won Best in Show!
The base is 9 48x48 baseplates and it stood at about 3 feet tall. Timothy (Almost) built the back 6 baseplates and (Almost) the first layer of rocks. Since he didn't quite finish, we had to speed build the top of his landscape and all of the walls and market stalls for the first 2 days of the con. But hey, what fun is a con without some speed building? I built the middle layer of island with the tower and the balcony, as well as the baseplate in the front right corner. Jake built the top layer of island with the castle, and the 2 remaining baseplates of water and landscape. Considering we had so much work to do at the con, this build turned out much better than I thought it would. It was a blast hanging out with these guys over the weekend and hopefully you can see more collabs from us in the future! Be sure to check out their Flickr pages for more photos!
