My dad has a Canon Powershot G10 he hasn't used for a while. This model has a mountable filter adapter accessory that I've been very curious about. I recently picked one up to see what exactly it's capable of when mixed with some ND grad filters.
I have something of a theory that as film and film camera prices continue to rise, these older high end compact digital cameras will become popular among budget-conscious photographers. With a little work, I think they're capable of producing decent images with quality similar to 35mm film.
