Mosaics and decor of the temple - Nativity

The Savior on the Spilled Blood is famous for the largest ensemble of mosaic art in Russia, which is why the cathedral is even called a "mosaic museum". While the mosaic outside only accentuates the main compositional nodes of the building, inside the mosaic compositions almost completely cover the plane of the wall, pylons, arches and domes of the Church of the Resurrection of Christ. The images of the iconostasis and the kyots are also mosaic.
