Two Hours Down (1)

GB Railfreight Class 92, 92018 heads through Hartford station in the early hours with the late-running Caledonian Sleeper Down Highlander (1S25).

The working was 119 minutes late having had a delayed start from Euston after a person was hit by a train at Harrow & Wealdstone. The initial delay was 159 minutes, so whilst 40 minutes had been clawed back by Drivers McGann (to Crewe) and Mcanerney (from Crewe), this could've been more like an hour had it not been for tardy Pendos getting in the was in the Stafford/Crewe area.

The Highlander eventually arrived 93 minutes late into Inverness, although this deficit could possibly have been reduced to less than an hour had it not been for an unnecessary looping at Moy.
