DB Cargo's Class 92, 92029 "Dante" heads off to Toton for a much needed new livery as part of its comeback into traffic after over eight years in store.
It was part of a substantial 66-hauled Saturday morning convoy running as 5Z54 10:00 Crewe Electric Traction Maintenance Depot to Toton Traction Maintenance Depot VSTP.
In tow were Class 90, 90039 "The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport", Class 92, 92029 "Dante" and Class 325, 325012.
The 90 and 92 were due to be exhibits at the forthcoming Toton community / family open day, with 92029 then staying at Toton for its new livery.
325012 was on its way to visit Toton's wheel lathe, with the equipment at Crewe still out of action.
