Night-Time Lakelander

Locomotive Services Group's Class 90, 90002 "Wolf of Badenoch" leads the return leg of Saphos Trains' "The Lakelander" through Hartford running as 1Z16 15:30 Carlisle to Rugby. The electric loco had replaced steam at Carnforth.

 

Class 47/4, 47810 / D1924 "Crewe Diesel Depot" was on the rear to provide ETH and support with the ECS moves.
