The pair were working the return leg of the Saphos Trains railtour to York, running as 1Z45 16:01 York to Wolverhampton.
To ensure both of LSL's InterCity Class 90s had a run out, 001 worked the evening Crewe-Wolverhampton leg, whilst sister Skoda 002 had worked the morning leg.
