Locomotive Services Limited Class 47/4, 47810 (D1924) "Crewe Diesel Depot" passes Calveley Hall Lane (between Nantwich and Tarporley) on a test run as 0D43 13:00 Crewe DHS to Chester.
Fellow Class 47s 47593 "Galloway Princess" and 47853 (47614) were along for the ride to act as a load and insurance.
The run also provided another opportunity for two of LSL's trainee drivers to clock up some more hours in the hot seat.
The test run confirmed 47810 was finally back to full health after a significant period out of service at its namesake for repairs, including a 'new' generator courtesy of ill-fated sister Sulzer 811.
