Filthy Phil (or Bella?)
GB Railfreight Class 66, 66710 "Phil Packer BRIT" - still sporting filthy RHTT livery - brings up the rear of 6G54 22:51 Crewe Basford Hall SSM to Wigan North Western as it heads through Hartford.
This was the last of four GBRf infrastructure trains following each other through the station on their way to a possession in the Wigan / Coppull Hall area for HABD (Hot Axle Box Detection) works.
This final train was running Top 'n' Tail (with sister Shed 719 leading). The locos would then "cascade" for the return workings to Crewe, i.e. 710 would lead the first train off the worksite, 719 the second and so on until the fourth and final train was also Top 'n' Tail with the 66s that led the first two trains into the possession.
