The stunning 6706 Mk2f RLO "Mount (M)Gahinga" that forms part of the Locomotive Services Limited's Chairman's Train. This is an ex-Caledonian Sleeper Mk2 lounge car that has been modified and fully refitted to a very high standard for specific use in Mr. Hosking's Chairman's Train as a drawing/sitting room.

 

The Chairman's Train had arrived into Crewe on 1Z47 11:24 Oxford to Crewe - a private charter bringing Jeremey Hosking and his family and friends to Crewe for the naming of one of the Class 37 locomotives in honour of Mr. Hosking's mother.

 

Direct Rail Services Class 57/3, 57307 "Lady Penelope" looks on from the Thunderbird siding.
