D05 Preservation Limited's Class 47/4, 47828 brings up the rear of the CFPS "Double Scotch" railtour as it crosses the Dutton Viaduct.
The 47 is on long-term hire to Locomotive Services Limited, who were operating the train on behalf of CFPS. The 47 was on the rear to provide ETH, as neither of the 40s on the front are fitted with the appropriate equipment.
The outward leg via the WCML to Scotland was running as 1Z31 08:30 Crewe to Edinburgh Waverley.
