Hartford Crossing

London Northwestern Railway Class 350 "Desiro" 350114 (with sister unit 231 attached out of sight) arrives into Hartford with the first stopping service of the day to Liverpool - 1F28 06:04 Crewe to Liverpool Lime Street - just as the delayed Caledonian Sleeper Up Highlander (1M16) races through the station at 87 mph.

GB Railfreight Class 92, 92014 was in charge of the Beds, having been a late replacement for sister Dyson 020 at Waverley due to issues with coupling that loco to the stock. 1M16 had then been further delayed by 20-25 minutes in the Wigan area due to OHLE issues, making it 61 Late through Hartford and eventually 70 Late at Euston having been sent via Northampton and the slow lines on the southern WCML.
