Large Delay
A very challenging night/morning for the Caledonian Sleepers due to an individual jumping from the Waverley Bridge onto the station roof and then two broken-down 385s, which then caused disruption for several hours in Edinburgh.
One of the worst affected services was the Up Highlander (1M16) with its three separate portions unable to get into the station to join up for around four hours.
The service - with GB Railfreight Class 92, 92033 on the front - passed Acton Bridge just shy of five hours late (297 minutes).
Ultimately it was terminated at Watford Junction, 293 minutes late. Remaining passengers were able to make their way into London from there, whilst the stock ran direct to Wembley as ECS.
