Platform Change
GB Railfreight Class 92, 92020 takes the Caledonian Sleeper Down Highlander (1S25) for another foray into Platform 12 at Crewe with TfW ECS units clogging up the booked Platform 6.
I was on Platform 6 with the relief driver playing "guess the platform" when the change was announced. One of the station assistants (not clocking the GBRf uniform) kindly offered to show him across to the new platform. After 38 years on the railways based in and around Crewe I think he had a reasonable idea where P12 was! And anyway, as he said himself, the train wouldn't be going without him.
