The sun rises on another day when the stored DB Cargo Class 90s at Crewe ETD sit motionless pondering their uncertain futures.

 

At the east end of the row of stored locomotives by the Chester Line are (from left to right):

 

90038 (stored July 2005)

90032 (stored February 2004)

90017 (stored October 2006)

90022 "Freightconnection" (stored September 2006)

 

90032 is the second longest stored locomotive at Crewe with only sister Skoda 025 having been stored longer (by one month).
