Coppenhall Consternation

GB Railfreight Class 92, 92038 catches the glow of the early morning sunrise as it heads past Coppenhall on the approach to Crewe with the Caledonian Sleeper Up Highlander (1M16).

I had gone to Coppenhall having captured some decent shots there in previous years, only to find the dreaded green palisade fencing had wrecked one shot and overgrown vegetation another.

On top of that there was a makeshift shelter at the bottom of the footbridge, so I wasn't sure if I was alone out in the fields at 05:00 in the morning.

Don't think I'll be going there again in a hurry, but managed a reasonable shot before I beat a hasty retreat.
