Having first been heard when it was over two miles away, English Electric Class 40, 40013 (D213) "Andania" charges through Hartford with the ECS from Saphos Trains' "The Welsh Marches Whistler".
Having dropped of its final travelers at Lancaster, 40013 had taken the stock on to Carnforth to run round and was returning to base on 5Z75 22:28 Carnforth North Junction to Crewe Holding Sidings.
40013 is privately owned and currently leased to Locomotive Services Limited for use on their mainline railtours.
