Starlight Stendhal
GB Railfreight Class 92, 92018 (formerly named "Stendhal") speeds north with the delayed Caledonian Sleeper Down Highlander (1S25) with only a couple of minutes to spare before the station lights went out at Hartford.
The service had left Euston 66 Late due to having to knock out a defective coach at Wembley, together with congestion caused by major signalling issues at Ledburn Junction. After it had passed through that area itself, 1S25 had lost more time and was 78 Late.
However, Stendhal got to work and by Hartford had recovered to 61 Late and by Preston this was down to 37 Late. The service eventually arrived into Inverness 9 Early.
