Ravel Escapes North

GB Railfreight Class 92, 92023 (formerly named "Ravel") powers through Winsford station with the Caledonian Sleeper Down Highlander (1S25). This was 023's first Class 1 working north of Wembley for six weeks.

A reduced service was running in response to Covid-19 restrictions, with only one train running in each direction serving Edinburgh and Inverness. The usual services to Glasgow, Aberdeen and Fort William were cancelled. Full services are planned to resume on the night of Thursday 29th April.
