Christine and the Convoy

DB Cargo's Class 90, 90037 "Christine" - sporting the special glider livery as a thank you to former CEO Hans-Georg Werner - pauses briefly on the UDL at Crewe as it leads a five loco convoy on 0K06 19:46 Wembley European Freight Operations Centre to Crewe ETD.

In tow behind the 90 were VSOE-liveried Class 67 pair 67024 and 67021, along with Class 92s 041 and 019 (out of shot). The 67s were en route to Toton for a refresh of their livery before the start of the British Pullman / VSOE livery in May and the 92s were heading to the ETD for repairs, having been moved up from Dollands in the afternoon by 67021.

Direct Rail Services Class 57/3, 57308 "Jamie Ferguson" rests for the night in the Thunderbird siding.
