GB Railfreight Class 92, 92010 was running 12 Early as it made its way back to Wembley and Caledonian Sleeper duties on 0Z92 10:02 Crewe Electric Traction Maintenance Depot to Wembley Inter City Depot.
Despite the path, 010 had actually started out from the Down Holding Sidings just south of Crewe station, having been moved there from the ETD a couple of days previously.
In hot pursuit, Avanti West Coast Pendolino Class 390, 390020 speeds south on the Up Fast with 1A06 09:23 Warrington Bank Quay to Euston, which was 25 Late at this point.
