Derelict Dysons

With the siding on the right still empty, a good view is afforded of the long-stored Class 90s and Class 92s on the left. The melancholy sight of the underused and dishevelled electric traction - which cost millions and took thousands of hours to build and maintain - comprises the following (date stored in brackets):

90025 [RfD Grey] (January 2004)

90031 "The Railway Children Partnership" [EWS] (December 2007)

92031 [DB Red] (June 2015)

92009 "Marco Polo" [DB Red] (August 2012)

92007 "Schubert" [RfD Grey / EWS logo] (August 2011)

The row contains the longest stored locomotive at CE - 90025 - and one of the most recently stored Class 92s, 92031. 016 (withdrawn in September 2017 with a cracked transformer) is the only 92 to have been stored since 031.

The last remaining Class 60 at Crewe - 082 - is also in this row, but is out of sight behind 92007 (and a wagon that's in between them).
