Sparks in the Snow

A rather weathered GB Railfreight Class 92, 92020 heads through the snow at Hartford with the Caledonian Sleeper Up Highlander (1M16). Driver S. Large in the chair keeping the keyworkers moving.

The pan on the icy OHLE created quite a light show as the Dyson powered through the station.

A reduced service was running in response to Covid-19 restrictions, with only one train running in each direction serving Edinburgh and Inverness. The usual services to Glasgow, Aberdeen and Fort William were cancelled.
