Going the Wrong Way
After a landslide at Beattock caused all four sleeper services to be cancelled, the empty stock needed to be returned to its respective bases. GB Railfreight Class 92, 92010 leads the ECS from the Down Lowlander (1S26) back through Hartford on its way to Wembley running as 5M11.
The service had got as far as Preston before having to detrain its passengers (who were allowed to stay on until a more sociable hour) and then return back south after running the loco around.
