Crewe Diesel at Night
Locomotive Services Limited's Crewe Diesel Depot lit up on a December night. Of note is the new canopy being built over the through road alongside the carriage shed. It is understood this will be for the Midland Pullman HST set.
The traction visible from left to right was:
Class 90, 90002 "Wolf of Badenoch" (just visible behind 90001)
Class 90, 90001 "Royal Scot"
Class 47, 47593 "Galloway Princess"
Class 40, 40145 / D345*
Class 47, 47828 (only just visible behind 40145)
*40145 is owned by The Class 40 Preservation Group and is on a six-month loan to LSL.
