Locomotive Services Limited Class 90, 90002 "Wolf of Badenoch" propels the 5Z92 Preston to Crewe Diesel Depot test / training run away from a brief stop at Hartford.
The 90 and Mk3 DVT Class 82, 82139 (on the front) were on one of a series of test runs along with ex-Greater Anglia Mk3 stock (soon to be repainted into InterCity too) as part of preparations for LSL's new InterCity charter offering starting later in 2020.
The itinerary for the debut year has now been released, starting with the Royal Scot on 21 November from Euston to Glasgow and the Midland Scot on 5 December from Birmingham to Glasgow, before a full season commencing in April 2021.
