LSL's Class 47, 47593 "Galloway Princess" was on the rear of the consist, with the two 47s pairing up for the second week running.
47712 had undergone an exam and received some running repairs in the 16 hours or so it was at Crewe Diesel Depot in between its duties up in the Pennines.
