The Chris Express
After another week working Rail Charter Services' "North Pennine Staycation Express" on the Settle and Carlisle line, the locomotives and stock return to Crewe Diesel Depot for a brief overnight stay for running repairs and maintenance.
Leading the 5Z47 ECS move through Hartford as it returned from Skipton to Crewe was Locomotive Services Limited's Class 47/7, 47593 "Galloway Princess". 47 712 was on the rear.
In the cab were Driver Chris (on the right) and Guard Chris (on the left) hence the "The Chris Express".
