Lacklustre

Another drizzly, lacklustre morning in Cheshire as GB Railfreight's Class 92, 92018 heads south through Crewe Basford Hall Junction with the Caledonian Sleeper Up Highlander (1M16). The sleeper stalwart formerly known as "Stendhal" looks in need of a good wash, adding to the murkiness of the image.

A revised timetable was in operation due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with only the Inverness and Glasgow portions running and splitting/joining at Edinburgh to form one train in each direction on the WCML.
