Daresbury Dyson

GB Railfreight Class 92, 92043 leads the delayed Caledonian Sleeper Up Highlander through a dull Daresbury.

The southbound beds were 28 Late at this point, having been 73 Late at one stage leaving Perth due to a major signalling fault south of the Scottish city. This meant the relief driver had to make the 45 minute dash from Stirling - where he was due to take the train forward from - to Perth instead, then take M16 round the Fife Circle instead of the booked route via Stirling and Falkirk.

A revised timetable was in operation due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with only the Inverness and Glasgow portions running and splitting/joining at Edinburgh to form one train in each direction on the WCML.
