Hunting High and Low
On the first night of an amended service plan for the Caledonian Sleeper as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, GB Railfreight Class 92, 92038 works 1S25 north through Hartford.
This will be the only northbound service running and whilst one portion is for Inverness as normal, the second portion is for Glasgow. Passengers for Edinburgh are also able to use the Glasgow portion, although it would involve alighting at Waverley no later than 05:30!
Southbound is a similar story, with a portion from Glasgow joining the Inverness portion to form 1M16 south to Euston.
Given the combined nature of this interim revised service, perhaps the "High and Low-lander" would be an appropriate description.
