Lightly Loaded

With government advice against non-essential travel due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the loadings on the Caledonian Sleeper are significantly down. Some Sleepers during the week were reported to be at <20% capacity. I'd be surprised if the full service kept running much beyond the forthcoming weekend, however for now the full service is being maintained.

GB Railfreight Class 92, 92018 (formerly named "Stendhal" does her bit to keep the wheels of the UK turning as she leads the Down Highlander (1S25) through Hartford.

018 is sporting overhauled bogies which were donated by 044 and refurbed at Crewe ETD prior to the loco being dropped onto them on 20 February.
