Ropey Regulation

Due to a landslip by Dutton Viaduct (just south of Weaver Junction) all Caledonian Sleeper services were diverted via Chat Moss and Manchester for a couple of nights.

GB Railfreight Class 92, 92043 (formerly named Debussy) works the Up Highlander (1M16) through Goostrey on its way between Manchester and Crewe on the second night of diversions.

After a spot of ropey regulation in the Manchester area, 1M16 had ended up stuck behind an ECS booked for a 17 min wait at Piccadilly. Then to compound matters, 043 was caught behind an all stations to Crewe, meaning it was trundling at 35 mph through Goostrey.
