Locomotive Services Class 87, 87 002 "Royal Sovereign" still smelling of fresh paint stands in Crewe having arrived from Eastleigh Works resplendent in her new InterCity "Swallow" livery.
The last remaining mainline Class 87 was brought back to its new home at Crewe Diesel Depot by 47 501 and 47 805 (both out of shot) on 5Z36 along with a rake of equally ex-works Statesman Mk2s.
