Lights, Camera, Action

The Caledonian Sleeper Up Highlander (1M16) used to regularly run early, but since the Mk5s and revised order of portions/shunting at Waverley were introduced, it is typically on time or a little late through Hartford.

However, with the Fort William portion coaches already attached to the Aberdeen portion (and at Aberdeen) due to flooding at Tyndrum closing the West Highland Line the previous night, the Waverley shunts were completed much quicker.

This contributed to 1M16 being 17 Early through Hartford - meaning GB Railfreight Class 92, 92043 was easing its train through just two minutes after the station lights come on at 05:03.
