Paving The Way

GB Railfreight Class 66, 66758 "The Pavior" hauls the loaded STVA working from Dagenham to Garston (6X41) through Hartford in the early morning light.

The locomotive was named at Tarmac’s Harper Lane site in Radlett on 14 September 2018 in honour of the Worshipful Company of Paviors.

The Worshipful Company of Paviors were historically responsible for the pavements of the City of London and, over the years, have been critical to the development of the craft of paving, road making, general construction and infrastructure.
