Arc Light
GB Railfreight Class 92, 92018 lights up Hartford station with some arcing on the icy wires and it works the Caledonian Sleeper Up Highlander south on a cold November morning.
018 is arguably the most reliable of the GB Railfreight Class 92s and has earned a reputation as being something of a "Teacher's Pet". The locomotive formerly named "Stendhal" has worked more Sleeper main trunk runs than any other Class 92, having completed more than 500 between the start of GBRf providing the traction for the Sleeper on 31 March 2015 and the time of writing. That's more than 200,000 miles with only a few hiccups along the way.
