Scar-Face
Beaten but not bowed - after its altercation with downed OHLE in Kensal Green Tunnel the previous Friday morning which left it with a shattered windscreen, missing horn and other damage, GB Railfreight's Class 92, 92020 was back in action on the Lowlander (1S26) the following Tuesday night.
The engine was assessed at Wembley on the Monday and the fitters then got to work on her in double-quick time to get her patched up ready to return to service. The loco may be sporting odd coloured horns and need a touch-up to its otherwise immaculate paintwork at some point, but in the meantime 020 is back earning its keep on the Caledonian Sleeper services.
