Settling In
At the end of a historic week for the Caledonian Sleeper with the last Mk3/Mk2 services and the full roll-out of the Mk5s across all routes, GB Railfreight Class 92, 92014 cruises through Winsford with the Up Highlander (1M16).
After some delays caused by power supply issues at Preston on the first night of 100% Mk5 operation the night before, the week ended on a much more positive note with all services arriving on time or early, except for the Lowlander portion into Edinburgh which arrived just 5 mins late.
From now on the Caledonian Sleeper workings under the wires on the WCML will be the preserve of the Class 92s.
