Dyson Takeover

The night of 10/11 October 2019 saw the first time the new CAF Mk5 stock was used across all Caledonian Sleeper services.

 

With the modified GB Railfreight Class 92s (and Class 73/9s north of Edinburgh) being the only locomotives set up to haul the Mk5s in service, this also resulted in the first night ever that Class 92s worked all the Caledonian Sleeper workings (including ECS) under the wires.

 

On this inaugural night, Class 92, 92014 works the Down Highlander service through Hartford station.

92 033 on 1M16

92 020 on 1C11/1B26 (Carstairs portion)

92 010 on 5M11/5S26 (Glasgow ECS) + 0C11/0B26 (EDB standby)

92 043 on 5S96/5M11 (London ECS)

 

73 967 + 73 969 on 1M16/1S25 (Inverness portion)

73 968 + 73 971 on 1B16/1A25 (Aberdeen portion)
