Maleficent Mk3

Caledonian Sleeper Mk3 coach 10675 tags on in disgrace to the back of the Up Highlander (1M16) as it heads into the morning mist at Acton Bridge.

The coach had originally been the fifth one in the rake as the full train formed up at Edinburgh, but due to a fault it needed to be shunted to the end. Due to possessions at Edinburgh, this process took in the region of two hours. Whilst a bit of time had been recovered by the time the service made it to Cheshire, it was still 107 Late at this point - and after encountering traffic on the southern WCML ended up 118 Late at Euston.
