ECS Engines
AC Locomotive Group's Class 86/1, 86101 "Sir William A Stanier FRS" (on-hire to GB Railfreight) and GB's own Class 92, 92033, stand in Euston after both working in Caledonian Sleeper ECS moves (5S95 and 5S96).
86101 had worked in the 'classic' stock for the Down Highlander (1S25) and had then run round from Platform 1 to the Middle Siding to stable for the night. 92033 was still in Platform 15 having brought in the Mk5 stock for the Down Lowlander (1S26) but it too would join 86101 in the siding for the night once the Lowlander had departed.
Both locos would then repeat their respective ECS duties in the morning, working the empty stock back to Wembley.
