The immaculate overhauled No.2 end bogies on GB Railfreight's reinstated Class 92, 92006 as it waits to depart Euston with the Caledonian Sleeper Lowlander ECS to Wembley (5M11).
Having been stored by SNCF in February 2006 and reinstated back into traffic by GB Railfreight on 2 July 2019, Class 92, 92 006, worked its first active duties on the night of 2/3 August. Having worked the ECS for the Lowlander into Euston the prior evening, it then stayed the night in the Middle Sidings (adjacent to Platform 15) before running round to work the morning ECS move back to Wembley (5M11).
92 020 was on the other end having brought 1M11 south from Glasgow, meaning both reinstated Class 92s were Top 'n' Tailing a train together for the first time since being brought back into use. With over 31 years in store between them, this represents an investment of around £4m by GBRf in their 92 fleet.
