Grotty!
I've previously avoided photographing Freightliner's Class 90, 90047, on the Sleeper as it's a bit of a tatty mess these days. However, with it being one of only two FL Skodas I'd not yet photographed hauling the Caledonian Sleeper I thought I'd make the effort before their tenure working the old stock on the Highlander finally comes to an end in a few weeks.
And what an effort it was - driving through deep flood water in the dark and then ending up on the miserable and deserted platform at Chelford gone midnight!
With the weather as grotty as the loco's paintwork, I did manage to capture 90047 in the less than ideal conditions as it flew through the station in a cloud of spray with 1S25.
