Welcome to Scarbados

A few phone pics from the GB Railfreight StaffEx from Motherwell to Scarborough (and back). Here the GBRf-sponsored Class 50s stand at the block in Scarborough having delivered their passengers for an afternoon by the sea (or in the pub).

The Class 50 Alliance’s 50007 "Hercules" (sporting 50014 "Warspite" on one side) and 50049 "Defiance" - resplendent in GBRf livery - hauled the charter south as 1Z50 from Scotland to York, before running round in Holgate Sidings. 50049 then led the pair to the seaside resort. The roles were then reversed, with 50007 leading from Scarborough to York and 50049 back north on the ECML to Edinburgh and Motherwell as 1Z52.
