Brush Masterpiece

Having been released from Brush the day before after 13 years in store, GB Railfreight's Class 92, 92 006 didn't hang around stretching its legs on the mainline.

92006 ran initially to Stafford from Crewe, then on to Preston to collect sister locomotive 92033. The immaculate 006 is seen leading the pair as they fly south through Acton Bridge back to Crewe on 0Z92.

Running as well as she looks, the performance of 006 straight out of the "box" is a marked contrast to the other 92 reinstated after a long time in store - 020 - which took several weeks of additional work before it was ready for the mainline.

Of note, the Caledonian Sleeper "stag" symbol on 006 is smaller than on 033 (and the other six "Sleeper" 92s).
